When we chose these websites, these websites met our standards for well-written websites. They have complied with our rules.
Unlike other award programs, the WBE do not assess technical aspects of a website, such as whether the website is elegantly coded or optimized for search engines. Rather, we assess how well the website is written. We use a scorecard that grades websites against several criteria, including structure, language, spelling and grammar, design, and content.
