Here are some of my favourite jokes books.

Knock Knock Who's There: My First Book of Knock Knock Jokes by Tad Hills is for children who like “Knock, knock” jokes, especially preschool children. The illustrated book contains 10 jokes, all name-oriented, and all very funny. The book’s beautiful illustrations make the jokes even funnier. The book is also “interactive”: pull back the flaps inside the book to find the joke inside. The book was published in 2000.

Everything Kids' Gross Jokes Book: Side-Splitting Jokes That Make Your Skin Crawl! by Aileen Weintraub is another great book if you want to help your kid laugh and learn. The book is not only a joke book, but also a book full of puzzles, riddles, and interesting facts about different critters. For example, did you know that the difference between a worm and a cookie is that the worm doesn’t fall apart when you dunk it in milk? And this is only the first chapter; the next chapters contain jokes about “stinky stuff” and “horrible humans”. A good book for boys, the book was published in 2005 and it is intended for ages 5-12.

Drawing on the Funny Side of the Brain: How to Come Up With Jokes for Cartoons and Comic Strips by Christopher Hart is specially designed for illustrators and comic writers. The book will show you how to use the right side of your brain and come up with great sketches. The chapters cover a large area of subjects, such as: how to draw funny characters, how to write jokes, and how to become a professional cartoonist. If this is your dream job, this book can make it real. The book was published in 1998.

The Family Joke Book: Illustrated by Hank Blaustein by Brad Taylor is a book with safe jokes for any age. As well as the jokes, the book also contains stories, some of them motivational, some with good life advice. The book is divided into jokes for four age groups, allowing you to pick out the jokes that are suitable for your age and taste. Published in 2000, this book also contains tongue twisters, grammar lessons, and oxymorons.
