This site is also about having fun with words. So, we run FREE competitions and provide FREE word games and e-cards.

Our holding company, ROH, owns all the copyright in the text we've written for this site, including these terms. ROH also owns the original games, puzzles, drawings, e-cards, images, animations, and all other material on this site that ROH or Serenson Pty Ltd has created or commissioned.
We do NOT own copyright in the 1918 text of William J Strunk's The Elements of Style. We can reproduce that work because it has entered the public domain in Australia. It is reproduced only for people from countries where the work has entered the public domain (which, to the best of our knowledge, also includes the US and the UK). You should check your local copyright laws to make sure you are allowed to download and view the work. You mustn't take us to be authorising infringement of intellectual property rights by our uploading a copy of the work.
ROH owns the registered trademark Serenson® and reserves all rights over it and other trademarks ROH owns. Third parties may own other product names and company names on this site.

We've put a contact form on this site to help our visitors contact us. We DO NOT consent to receiving spam. If you use this site or use our email addresses to spam us, then, without limiting our rights at law and your legal obligations to comply with laws prohibiting the use of spam (such as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth)), we'll charge you AU $500 an hour for removing the spam from our system and for administration.

If your site is legal and has no pornographic or other offensive material, and isn't an online gambling site, then we encourage you to link to this site, and you don't need our permission. 09 Linking to this site (illegal, pornographic, online gambling, and offensive sites)
This site is a FAMILY site. So, if your site is illegal, contains pornographic or other offensive material, or is an online gambling site, you MUST NOT link to this site and MUST NOT link to the sites that monitor our web statistics. If you ignore this notice, and you impermissibly put a link to or from our sites, then, without limiting our rights at law, you'll pay us AU $1,000 for each link you put to and from our sites. 10 Misusing our trade names
If you impersonate Serenson or otherwise misuse our trade names, for example for telemarketing or for spamming others, you'll pay us AU $500 an hour for the time it takes us to answer complaints that people mistakenly direct to us. We'll pursue and enforce any other remedies available to us.
11 Forums code of conduct
What you MUST NOT do
Without limiting your obligations, you MUST NOT do any of the following on our blog and forums:
- swear;
- impersonate anyone;
- violate others’ rights;
- stalk, flame, harass, defame, or threaten anyone;
- post or send spam, junk mail, chain letters, or pyramid schemes;
- use our blog or forums for illegal purposes or for purposes that these terms forbid;
- advertise, solicit business, or offer to sell goods or services, without our permission;
- use a false header or other identifiers to disguise the origin of a posting or uploaded content;
- deliberately post the same message or material more than once on the same blog entry or forum;
- run a game, raffle, or contest (regardless of whether participants pay a fee), without our permission;
- recruit people to join another website or website forum, whether personal or otherwise, without our permission;
- publish or distribute unlawful or objectionable material, including material that is obscene, indecent, pornographic, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
- post material or upload or attach files that are protected by intellectual property laws, unless you own or have got all the required consents and licences to use such material; or

What we CAN do
We own the blog and forums. Your contributions are not private communications between you and someone else. That means we can edit, filter, review, remove, and moderate your posts without notice for any reason. We can also cancel your access to our blog and forums without notice for any reason.
